Strengthening healthcare through strategic collaboration with government institutions.
Al-Qawsan Scientific Bureau maintains a long-standing and strategic relationship with Iraq's Ministry of Health, the national authority responsible for pharmaceutical regulation, public health policy, and the oversight of all healthcare activities across the country.
Our collaboration with the Ministry encompasses several critical areas. We work closely with the regulatory division on the registration and accreditation of pharmaceutical factories and products, ensuring that all medications entering the Iraqi market meet the required safety and efficacy standards. This includes the preparation and submission of technical dossiers, facility inspection coordination, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
Beyond regulatory affairs, Al-Qawsan has played a central role in national health initiatives — most notably as the exclusive distributor of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine during the pandemic, supporting the Ministry's nationwide vaccination campaign across all 18 governorates.
We also contribute to healthcare professional training programmes organised in partnership with the Ministry, providing workshops and seminars on the latest treatment protocols, pharmacological advances, and product knowledge.

The company's facilities include production lines for tablets, capsules, syrups, injectable solutions, and ointments.
